Christmas kinda came early for me this year. because I have been sick with a really awful head-cold i was allowed to open a Christmas present early and so i have spent the last three days curled up with Grace Bonney's gorgeous decor book 'Design Sponge at Home'....my idea of heaven ...apart from the sniffling and coughing. design sponge is one of my favourite design blogs and i freely admit i spend an unhealthy amount of time browsing their sneak peek home tours. who doesn't love a peek through the keyhole ?
if you have been following me here you will know that we are currently redecorating a home we recently purchased here and our colour scheme is mostly grey. the idea is grey walls, mostly white furniture and pops of color in textiles and accessories. the book features a home tour of a woodsy cabin belonging to interior designer Genifer Goodman Sohr and i have fallen in love....
